BARREL THUMB PISTONS WITH REED SWITCHES & NEW 'GOLF TEE' TYPE, IVORINE, THUMB PISTON UNIT HEADS We now have available, to order, 5/8" & 3/4" head, single touch, BTP units fitted with reed switch contacts. These are based on our standard BTP bodies and caps and have the same mounting and overall length. These are supplied with flying leads attached. We are also now offering 3/4" diameter, 'Golf Tee' type, Thumb Piston Unit heads, machined from Ivorine. These are our ref. No. FS128. See Keyboard and Bellows page for details. NEW BRASS TOE PISTONS Now available, on a made to order basis, are solid brass, turned, Toe Pistons. These can be fitted with either our standard mechanical, phosphor bronze contacts or a reed switch contact. Please see photograph on Catalogue Page 2 of this site. As the 1/2" and 9/16" units are physically the same size and share the same footprint, with the 9/16" unit conducting a larger volume of air, we are no longer offering the 1/2" unit as standard and will substitute the 9/16" unit when 1/2" are ordered, unless there is a specific requirement for 1/2".

SWELL SHUTTER LUGS Due to lack of demand for swell shutter lugs we are unable to continue to offer these in our range of products as of 01/06/2008. PLASTIC BUTTONS We have had reports of some failures with plastic buttons, and having consulted with the plastic manufacturers and carried out extensive trials ourselves, we have decided to change the plastic used to Polypropylene which will overcome the problem.
