CREDIT CARDS

We can now accept payments by credit card which will make paying easier for many customers, especially those in other countries.

We are also now able to accept payments in U.S. Dollars.  Please advise us at the time of ordering if you wish to pay in Dollars so that we can supply a conversion figure with the invoice.

ENGRAVING PRICES

From 1st. January 2008 there will be a 15% additional setting charge on the price of engraving for orders valued at less than £25.00. 

BARREL THUMB PISTONS WITH REED SWITCHES

We now have available, to order, 5/8" & 3/4" head, single touch, BTP units fitted with reed switch contacts.  These are based on our standard BTP bodies and caps and have the same mounting and overall length.  These are  supplied with flying leads attached.  Please see catalogue page 2 on this site for picture and contact us for further details. 

WOODEN KEYBOARDS 

High quality wooden keyboards are now available from KA.  See Keyboard and Bellows page for details.

NEW BRASS TOE PISTONS

Now available, on a made to order basis, are solid brass, turned, Toe Pistons.  These can be fitted with either our standard mechanical, phosphor bronze contacts or a reed switch contact.  Please see photograph on Catalogue Page 2 of this site.  Please contact us for price and delivery details which will be based on quantities required.

DRAWSTOP SOLENOIDS

We now supply, as standard, hard felt armature bearings and graphite coated centre tubes for all of our Drawstop Solenoids. Together these give improved feel and quietness to the action.
                                                                                                                                                         Centre mounting flanges are now available for 1" (25mm) units, and new push in connectors can be fitted as optional extra's on all models.

1/2", 3/4" & 9/16" COMPOUND MAGNETS


Following the success of our 1/2" Compound Magnet FS228, C02,  3/4" & 9/16" units are now also available. These are manufactured using the same design of rigid, glass filled Nylon moulded base and cap.
We have retained the use of leather for the valves and diaphragm in these units to ensure reliability and long service life.
Samples are available and can be ordered under the Order Code FS229, 3/4" & FS230, 9/16".


As always you will find the price of these units to be extremely competitive. Both sizes are available in 24 volt format at no extra cost. All units are available with either hinged or loose armatures, see price list for details.

LIGHT PALLET MAGNETS

We have expanded our range of Light Pallet Magnets with the introduction of FS159, 5/8"(15mm), and FS162, 1"(25mm) pallet sizes, and also a more powerfull 60 ohm coil.
Please specify any of the above when ordering.

HEAVY DUTY LEVER MAGNET

Our Heavy Duty Lever Magnet (see catalogue page on this site for picture) has been substantially modified. The main points of the modifications are as follows:-

Improved, bushed, self lubricating bearing.

Increased magnet strength by reduction in power loss through friction and by the use of a coil return spring.

New fixing hole positions for easier mounting (original holes retained for retrofitting).

Easy and positive adjustment by use of plated steel screw and lock nut.

Quieter action by use of optional cork mounting gasket.

BELLOWS UNITS & PNEUMATIC MOTORS

We now offer a range of single and double rise bellows, and primary action motors.  There ia also a releathering service available.  See dedicated bellows page for picture of bellows and consult our price list for details of range available.

 

PLASTIC BUTTONS

We have had reports of some failures with plastic buttons, and having consulted with the plastic manufacturers and carried out extensive trials ourselves, we have decided to change the plastic used to Polypropylene which will overcome the problem.

 

CHEST MAGNETS

We are now offering a 70 ohm version of our standard Chest Magnet for use on higher wind pressures. These are the same price as the standard 140 ohm unit.  We also have available a floating armature version of this unit which gives slightly better performance at higher pressure, but with the restriction that it must only be used in the vertical position.  There is also a cost saving with this unit.   Both chest Magnets can be supplied in corrosion resistant form to order.




CHATTERTON COMPOUND

The manufacturers of this material have now ceased its manufacture in any form which we can use.
Currently we are out of stock but continue to search for an alternative source.  If anyone has any knowledge of a source for this material please let us know.
